Kelsey Sabo
Kelsey’s yoga journey began with tears of release in pigeon pose during her first yoga class at the age of 14, sparking her lifelong quest to better understand the profound connection between mind and body. In 2015, she began teaching yoga and meditation in a women's prison in Uganda during her Peace Corps service and has been dedicated to facilitating deeply intentional, safe spaces for her students of all backgrounds and abilities around the world ever since. Becoming a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher in 2018 after her training with Upaya Yoga in India, then studying in ashrams across India, Kelsey remains committed to upholding traditional Eastern yogic practices while forever expanding her personal practice as a dedicated student of yoga, meditation, Buddhism, and life.
Over the last decade, Kelsey has trained in and practices Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Prenatal, Yoga Nidra, Trauma-Informed Restorative, and Yin yoga, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation, Transcendental Meditation (TM), Vipassana Meditation, Reiki I & II, Sound Healing, and more. A trained full-spectrum birth doula & lactation consultant, hospice worker, and registered nurse in the emergency department, her dharma (purpose) is to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western healing practices and medicine.
