Elizabeth Scollan stumbled into her first yoga class in 2006 in search of a way to deal with life-long anxiety. She left that first class in awe of the revolution that had happened from within.
It was as if someone had cleaned the camera lense and everything felt clearer, and bright ; more tangible. She has been practicing yoga ever since, allowing her relationship with it to evolve and change as she has.
In 2011, Elizabeth completed her 200 hour training at Charm City Yoga. She believes that the asana practice is a process of remembering. Each time you return to breath and body you recognize it more as home.
Always a student, Elizabeth has continued to study many modalities, including meditation, pranayama, buti, myofascial release, and somatic techniques, often blending them in a single class. She is currently working on her 300 Hour YTT through Yoga Medicine led by Tiffany Cruikshanks.
